Audiences will be thrown into a mashup of The Princess Bride and Star Wars at the production of Space Princess Wars, performed by the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School.
According to director Heather Capece, the production includes everything she looks for in a play.
“I like the shows to be fun,” she said. “If your inner geekiness is a jedi, come dressed up and have fun and you will get all the jokes. And even if you don’t know Star Wars and Princess Bride, it’s still a fun story.”
Performances are Dec. 12 and 13 at 6 p.m. and Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. All shows are held at the Grange Hall.
