The Career-related Programme (CP)
The Career-related Programme is a hybrid program combining career-related learning and IB Diploma Programme courses. The career pathway offerings are tailored to the needs of students and to the local context. Emphasis is placed on workforce preparedness, the development of lifelong skills, as well as academic learning that provides students with relevant background information for their career-related studies. Through the career-related study, students pursue a certification through an external study provider. The CP prepares students for higher education, entrance into the workforce, or the pursuit of apprenticeships. The Charter School has worked together with Adult Community Education of Martha’s Vineyard (ACE MV) to offer different career-related study options.
